The Title I Statewide School Support/Parental Involvement Initiative invites you to participate in the 2008 Statewide NCLB Parental Involvement Conference to be hosted at Galveston, TX December 4 – 6, 2008.
This conference, “Parental Involvement: A Living Legacy,” promises to build the capacity of all participants in the parental involvement arena. Every person wants to be remembered for worthwhile contributions, but leaving a legacy begins now by living a legacy today – investing time, adding foresight and planning, and mixing it together with love for one another. The outcome is a living legacy of life-changing memories for future generations.
It is hoped that your attendance at this conference will provide you with strategies and networking opportunities for enhancing your parental involvement program and creating a more instructionally effective school. Parent attendees will learn practical techniques for helping children succeed at home, school, and in the community.
